Kick-Off Unwanted Pivot Layouts
Excel Tips, Pivot TutorialHi there,
Today, I will be sharing a most important tip for Pivot Table. Most of the questions I am receiving from my trainees are from Pivot. Especially on today's topic. i.e., How to come out of Pivot Layout if at all we don't require to create a Pivot for our data? The Excel workbook will look mysterious if at all you are not able to know the solution to this problem. Many times, I have deleted the complete workbook or worksheet when I face this situation before knowing this tip. However we will proceed how to remove or delete the Pivot Layout when not required.
...
To prepare a pivot table from the raw data, what you will do is selecting the raw dump and click on ALT + N + V + T , right? The above pic is how it looks even for you. ;)
Say, you don't want this pivot table for some reason and you want to use this space for further data analysis, then what you will do, you need to delete this area.
You need to select this area completely to delete the layout.
When you press DELETE button from your keyboard after selecting this layout will look like the above image. This is still incomplete. So,
the above result can be achieved when you select the above line from the layout and use CTRL + D which copies the format of blank cells to the below cells and it exactly looks like above. So, now the pivot layout is kicked off from your space.
This is awesome tip right.
That's it from my end. See you in the next post.
