Rounding Numbers to Millions
Excel TipsHi there,
Here is a small tip which helps you to present from large numbers (9 digits or more) to smaller numbers. Let me reveal the trick so that you can also try before proceeding the post, else you can proceed with the post.
You can use custom number formatting to millions like 0,, "M"
For the one who are still confused here we go:
To convert large number to small number without any change in reading can be done through custom formatting.
Say, we have a country-wise population data in an Excel as shown below.

to
Select a cell or range of cells to convert and hit CTRL +1. The format cells window appear like below. Goto Custom and change the format as shown in figure.
Click OK.
That's it. Magic Works!!!
