Undo or Redo Series of Actions (excel tip)
Excel TipsHi there,
In this post, we will learn "How to UNDO or REDO series of actions in Excel?"
We all know how to undo, right?
We use CTRL + Z (keyboard shortcut), similarly, we can use CTRL + Y (keyboard shortcut) to redo the activity in Excel.
This is one way of doing for single instance. But, for multiple instances is a new concept for most of us, right?
Yes!
...
To apply redo or undo for multiple instances :
> Goto top left corner of the window as shown above
> Click on the icon turned towards left (which is UNDO)
> Select multiple items which needs to undo the actions
> Makesure you move the cursor or arrow towards bottom to select the actions to undo. To undo all the actions, need to move the cursor towards last action.
Note: Makesure, we don't select random actions to undo. Eg: First undo is Italic, unless we undo Italic. We cannot undo Font or below actions without undo ing the Italic.
Similarly, we can redo the same using REDO button as shown in the figure.
Also, here is the pics which shows multi selection of undo or redo actions.
That's it. Magic Works!!!
